Meter Read Code:
- CE: Computer Estimate
- ME: Manual Estimate
- MR: Meter Read
- RR: Meter Re-Read
Estimated Reading – When a meter is unable to be read, an estimated reading is used based on previous usage. Adjustments if necessary are made on the next billing when the meter is read.
Demand – Demand if the peak rate which electric energy is used for any period of 15 consecutive minutes.
Power Cost Adjustment Clause – The adjustment reflects the variance in the cost of purchased power from the amount included for these costs in our basic electric rate.
Meter Multiplier – On some types of meters, a multiplier is used to convert the meter readings to your total energy use.
kWh- Kilowatt-Hour. This is a unit of measure on your electric use. One 100-watt light burning for 10 hours will consume 1 kWh.
Customer Charge – The monthly charge covers the cost to maintain our meters, pipes, and lines.
